About the Journal
The Bayero Journal of Dentistry is an open access scholarly publication of the Faculty of Dentistry, Bayero University Kano. The journal publishes original articles, case-reports and review articles related to dentistry. Published articles may be related to clinical or laboratory dentistry. The journal also accepts population studies with a dental theme. Articles related to dental education are also welcome. The journal may also be used for the propagation of position statements and conference proceedings related to dentistry and dental education. The journal will be published biannually.
Advertising Policy
The journal accepts classified advertisements from entities who provide products and services that may benefit a dental audience. This category of potential advertisers includes product vendors, organizations providing technical support to dental practitioners, product manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.
The journal shall not be used as a medium for promoting political, religious or lifestyle opinions that are not remotely related to the advancement of dentistry. Position statements related to dentistry which may be of a controversial nature will be published with a caveat lector.
